Ukulele Sets

The first decision to make when building an ukulele is what size to build. From largest to smallest, we supply Tenor, Concert and Soprano sets.

Tenor Ukuleles

Our Tenor templates allow for at least the dimensions below of good wood that is free from rot or cracks. Small pin-knots that are sound and/or mineral staining may be included within the templated area on some sets. Sets with these slight imperfections still make beautiful looking and sounding ukuleles and are typically discounted. Sapwood is typically excluded from the templated area, however if any falls within the chalk line it is guaranteed to be solid and just as dense as the heartwood. There are many beautifully crafted ukuleles that include spalted sapwood in their design.

  • Top/Back - 4.5" x 14" (114 mm x 356 mm)
